In this quest, In My Time of Need, a lot of people tend to side with Saadia because "duuhh she'z hotttt". The more sensible people side with Kematu, since the evidence is in his favor. However, some people maintain that there is no right answer in this quest, and that the evidence for both sides is very gray. Nope, Kematu is 100% right.If you want an authoritative source, go to UESP. There, you'll find that, in fact, you do NOT need to side with Kematu or Saadia to complete the quest; either one is acceptable. If you kill Saadia in front of Kematu, Kematu will say something like "You ruined all the work we put into capturing her!", implying the Alik'r really did want to capture her for a fair trial and not kill her outright.

For Saadia to make such an accusation by is absurd and obviously a ploy. If the Thalmor was really after her, they do not need to hire Redguard mercenaries.
